Bank Account Name Matching
Last updated
Direct answer
Payments to Flow Crypto and NZD payouts should use a bank account held in the verified customer's name.
A name mismatch can cause a payment or payout to be held, reviewed, rejected or returned rather than processed automatically.
Why names are checked, permalink
Matching the bank account holder to the verified customer helps prevent third-party payments, account misuse and misdirected payouts. It also gives support a consistent ownership record if a transaction needs investigation.
A small formatting difference is not a promise of acceptance or rejection. Staff may need evidence when the available payment information cannot be matched safely.
If your legal name has changed, permalink
Update your Flow Crypto identity details before relying on an account held under a different name. Support may ask for current identity evidence and proof of the change.
Do not edit another person's bank details to look like your own or route money through a friend, relative, employer or business account without written approval in advance.
