Meet Eli Hylands
I've been passionate about crypto for many years, and I've spent more than a year building Flow Crypto into the platform it is today.
Since university, I've worked as both a software engineer and business analyst. That combination of technical and practical experience shapes how I approach the product.
Outside work, I'm an avid rock climber and love playing frisbee golf. You'll often find me climbing or out on the course after work and on weekends.
Why we started
Buying cryptocurrency in New Zealand was harder than it needed to be. Overseas platforms, foreign currency conversions and complicated interfaces created friction before a customer could make a simple purchase.
Flow Crypto was built to offer a clearer local path. We are a small, independent New Zealand team focused on making each step understandable, from verification and payment through to wallet delivery.
