How to sell crypto for NZD

Create and verify
Confirm your email and complete the profile and identity checks requested in your dashboard. Add a bank account held in your verified name.

Review your sell order
Open Buy / Sell and choose Sell. Select an available asset and network, enter the amount and review the expected NZD payout and expiry before confirming.

Send the crypto
Use the exact deposit address, network, amount and any memo shown on that order. Wait for the deposit to be detected and confirmed.

Follow the NZD payout
After confirmation, execution and any required checks, the order progresses to bank payout. Follow the recorded status and payout reference in your order activity.
A Bitcoin selling example
From BTC to an NZ bank account
- Choose Bitcoin under Sell and check that the deposit network is Bitcoin Network. Enter the BTC amount you want to sell and review the expected NZD payout.
- Select your own verified bank account and place the sell order to obtain its deposit instructions.
- In your Bitcoin wallet, use the on-chain send option and check the full deposit address. Send the exact amount requested by Flow, allowing for any fee your sending wallet deducts.
- Return to order activity to follow deposit confirmation, execution and payout. Keep the public transaction hash if you need support.
Use the instructions from your own order, never from a screenshot or an old order. Do not send a Lightning payment to an on-chain Bitcoin address.

Which assets and networks can I sell?
The Sell selector in your account shows the currently available selling assets and networks. Buying availability does not establish selling availability. Check the exact combination before creating an order or sending funds, including any destination tag or memo shown.
Understand network and address risksWhat is the minimum, and where can I check fees?
Minimum sell: NZ$50 of crypto before fees. The NZD amount is your payout after fees. Asset and network minimums may be higher.

Can I use someone else’s bank account?
Use a bank account held in your own verified name. Complete the identity checks requested in your dashboard and check the selected bank details before placing the order.
Bank-account name matchingWhat if the quote expires or my deposit is incorrect?
Follow the price-lock and deposit deadlines on your order. A late, underpaid, overpaid or mismatched deposit can be held or repriced rather than processed normally. Do not send another deposit while an earlier transfer or payout is unresolved.
Quote expiry and repricingHow long does the NZD payout take?
The crypto must be confirmed and sold, and any required checks completed, before payout. Blockchain confirmations, bank processing and review can affect timing. Follow the recorded order status instead of relying on a fixed payout promise.
Track the stages of your orderWhere do I get help?
If a deposit or payout needs attention, contact support with your order ID and public transaction hash. Never share your wallet’s recovery phrase or private key.
