LINK with NZD
Buy Chainlink in New Zealand.
Buy Chainlink (LINK) with NZD and receive LINK on Ethereum. Learn what the token does and prepare an Ethereum wallet that can display and hold it.

LINK connects to Chainlink’s oracle network
Chainlink supplies oracle services: ways for blockchain applications to use data and services from outside their own chain. LINK is the token used within the Chainlink network’s economics, including paying for services and supporting network security.
Buying LINK gives you the token. It does not buy shares in Chainlink, operate an oracle node for you or automatically enrol your coins in staking. Those are separate activities with their own requirements.
Flow’s LINK delivery uses Ethereum
Although Chainlink services operate across many blockchains, that does not mean every chain is a receiving option for a Flow LINK order. Flow’s supported LINK route is Ethereum (ERC-20).
Use an Ethereum mainnet wallet that supports LINK and copy the receiving address for an account you control. A matching 0x address on another chain is not enough. Confirm Ethereum (ERC-20) on the order and in the receiving instructions.
LINK and ETH have different roles in your wallet
LINK appears as a token balance in an Ethereum wallet. ETH is Ethereum’s native asset. If you plan to send LINK onwards from your own wallet, check the wallet’s ETH requirement for that transaction.
Some wallets need a token enabled before displaying its balance. Use the wallet’s verified token information and the transaction record; avoid importing a contract from an unsolicited message. A missing token display does not by itself mean the purchase failed.

Practical example
Receiving LINK in an Ethereum account
An illustrative walkthrough. Your order displays the current amount, quote and available networks.
- Open your Ethereum wallet and confirm that it can receive LINK on Ethereum mainnet. Copy the address from the account you control.
- Choose Chainlink / LINK in Flow and enter your NZD amount. Check Ethereum (ERC-20), the receiving address and the LINK quantity in your current quote.
- Pay using the order’s exact instructions. After delivery, open the LINK token balance on the same Ethereum account. Follow your wallet’s verified token-display guidance if LINK is not listed automatically.
Questions about buying Chainlink
Can I choose any chain supported by Chainlink?
No. Chainlink’s wider network integrations are different from Flow’s LINK delivery routes. Use Ethereum (ERC-20) as shown on the LINK order and confirm that your receiving wallet accepts it.
Will buying LINK also give me ETH?
A LINK order buys LINK. If a later wallet transaction requires ETH, that is a separate requirement to check in your wallet before sending or interacting with an application.
