BNB powers activity on BNB Smart Chain
BNB is the native asset used for transactions and smart-contract activity on BNB Smart Chain. You can buy BNB through Flow with NZD and have it delivered directly to your receiving wallet.
Holding BNB is different from holding a token issued on BNB Smart Chain. For example, USDT on that chain is a separate asset. Select BNB itself if BNB is what you need for your wallet or intended network activity.
Match BNB Smart Chain on both sides
Flow’s BNB route is labelled BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). Use a receiving wallet that supports BNB on that network. Copy the receiving address from the wallet’s BNB Smart Chain account.
These addresses begin with 0x, just like Ethereum addresses. That shared format does not mean that Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain are the same network. Confirm the network name on both the order and the receiving screen before paying.
Check your BNB balance on the correct chain
After delivery, a multi-network wallet may still be displaying Ethereum or another chain. Switch to BNB Smart Chain to view the receiving account’s BNB balance. You do not need to bridge the asset simply to make the wallet display the correct network.
Sending BNB onwards or interacting with applications is a separate wallet action. Review each wallet prompt carefully and keep control of your recovery phrase. A BNB purchase through Flow does not automatically stake your coins or connect your wallet to an application.

Does a 0x address prove I have selected the right network?
No. Several networks use this address format. The wallet must support BNB on BNB Smart Chain, and the network on your Flow order must match the receiving instructions.
Does buying BNB give me shares in Binance?
No. BNB is a cryptoasset. Purchasing BNB does not give you company shares or ownership rights in Binance.
