AML/CFT Policy

1.1 Reporting Entity: Flow Crypto is a reporting entity under the AML/CFT Act and is supervised by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).

1.2 Risk Assessment: We conduct and maintain a risk assessment that identifies and evaluates the money laundering and terrorism financing risks we face.

1.3 Compliance Programme: We maintain an AML/CFT compliance programme that includes policies, procedures, and controls to detect and deter money laundering and terrorism financing.

2.1 Identity Verification: All customers must complete identity verification before using our services. This includes providing a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of address.

2.2 Enhanced Due Diligence: We apply enhanced due diligence for higher-risk customers, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) and customers from higher-risk jurisdictions.

2.3 Ongoing Monitoring: We continuously monitor customer transactions for suspicious activity and conduct periodic reviews of customer information.

3.1 We are required by law to report suspicious transactions to the New Zealand Police Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

3.2 We may freeze or restrict accounts where suspicious activity is detected, without prior notice to the customer.
